Passionate about Italian art, language and food? Then our next extra class event is perfect for you. Learning Italian doesn’t stop in the classroom, in fact it’s just the beginning. Join our “Sabato italiano” to take the chance to put your skills in action in a fun and relaxing setting, and make your Italian truly come to life. The event is divided in two parts and you can chose to join both or just one of the two, depending on your schedule and preferences.
With “Italiano attraverso l’arte” from 10:30 until 12pm at the National Gallery you will take part in an interactive workshop and dive into into Italian art using Italian language.
With “Un brunch italiano” from 12:30 until 2pm at Obicà, a mozzarella bar and pizzeria right in the heart of London, you will enjoy a relaxing brunch with your teachers and other students to keep practising your speaking skills.

There will be one Beginner/Elementary group and one Intermediate/Advanced group. The two groups will work separately and have two different teachers.
You will take part in an interactive and communicative workshop on the topic of Italian art, while admiring the paintings by some of the most famous Italian maestri at the National Gallery (Duccio, Piero della Francesca, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Tiziano, Caravaggio etc.). You will learn and practice the vocabulary of art, colours, describe paintings, express opinions and ideas and play together. Tutto in italiano!

A small main served on a tasting board alongside a taste of different Italian “stuzzichini”, also suitable for vegetarians (buffalo mozzarella, tomato salad, Prosciutto di Parma, focaccia etc.) + a glass of wine. You can choose your piccolo main amongst: salad, pizza or pasta. Wine can be replaced by coffee/tea with a small dessert
